God is three in one- Father, Son (Word of God), and Spirit.
The Word of God is Jesus.
God formed man out of dirt and then breathed into him.
Therefore, we do not just have a physical body, but also have a spirit (Some say we are a spirit with a body).
Woman was created from the man's rib, indicating she is the man's helper (ezer).
All humanity fell when Adam and Eve disobeyed God's word and believed satan's word instead. But God gave a prophecy that when Jesus comes, satan will bruise his heel, but Jesus will crush satan's head.
Blessings come from God.
God promised Abraham's heir (one man) would bless all nations, but Abraham had two sons- a son of promise and a son of disobedience.
Jesus fulfilled this promise.
We can enter into the blessing of Abraham through faith in Jesus because Jesus died for us.
Unbelief is a sign of the disobedient son who lives in sin.
But if you put your faith in God's promise, you will be saved (son of promise).
All the promises of God are received in salvation.
Because humanity fell, we are all sinners by nature.
God used Moses to save his people and then gave them the law.
The law tells us how to love God and people.
But because we are unable to fulfill the requirements of the law, Jesus died the death we should have died.
We were crucified with Jesus on the cross and through his sacrifice we become righteous.
Jesus fulfilled the law for us so that we can be free.
We don't live according to the flesh, but we live according to the Holy Spirit.
God gave a prophecy to King David that his offspring would rule on his throne forever.
Jesus fulfilled this prophecy.
After Jesus' resurrection, he ascended into heaven and received all authority in heaven and earth.
We have a new identity through salvation in Jesus and faith in him.
We become children of God.
Jesus lives within us and shares all his authority with us.
We are his ambassadors with authority to fulfill the Great Commission.
Prophets are God's mouth piece who speak the words of God from dreams or visions.
After God's people continually sinned and walked away from God's commands, prophets called them to repent and be forgiven.
Prophets also gave prophecies that Jesus would come to save the world.
Jesus is also a prophet who always spoke what he heard his heavenly Father say.
In the new testament, the church is the body of Jesus Christ.
Jesus gave some to be prophets who are to equip the new testament saints for ministry.
The church also has the gift of prophecy. The purpose of this gift is to build up, encourage, and comfort.
Jesus is a priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
He is not a priest after the tribe of Levi, but rather he is our eternal high priest.
Jesus died for us to fulfill the day of atonement.
Jesus not only forgives our sins, but also removes our sins far away from us.
Jesus is our advocate who forgives us if we sin.
We are a holy temple in Jesus Christ. We are the body of Christ.
We are a holy priesthood and we can help others to receive the same forgiveness to become living stones in his holy temple.
The Holy Spirit is our promise.
Because Jesus cleans us (through faith we are children of God, ambassadors of God, and a holy temple of God), God's Spirit abides in us to give us power, boldness, spiritual gifts and spiritual fruit.
Jesus reversed the fall that came through Adam.
Jesus fulfilled the ultimate plan of God.
The result is God and man living together forever and ever, Amen.
