The Shocking Reality of the Cosmic Battle between Good and Evil

You may have heard of some traditional religions that believe in multiple gods, some good and some evil.

Even in the Greek philosophy, there was a cosmic battle in heaven between the various gods in which mere mortals were simply caught in the crossroads.

In some eastern religions, the universe is comprised of both good and evil, and humans must discipline themselves to escape the never ending cycle of life.

In all the world, there was not a faith like Christianity, which believed in one and only one God who is 100% good, righteous and just.

We can see this clearly taught in the Bible where the dark spirit opposed to God, called the slanderer, the accuser or the serpent, is merely a created being.

In the old testament, God has absolutely no worry about this fallen spirit and never once struggles in battle against him.

In fact, this evil spirit seeks permission from God in order to persecute the righteous man, Job.

In the end of the new testament, God doesn't even fight against this ancient serpent, but an angel binds him in the abyss, then after he is released one thousand years later, fire from heaven consumes his entire army and he is thrown into the lake of fire.

The Bible doesn't even record who throws the accuser into the lake of fire, as if it's not even important.

In the book of Genesis, it is Adam and Eve who are tempted by the serpent and sin by obeying him over God.

Jesus is the last Adam and he also faced all the temptations of the accuser, except he prevailed by believing the true word of God over the serpent's cunning schemes.

Jesus did not face the serpent as God, but as the son of man, representing us in his humanity.

When we are born again by believing in Christ and abiding in him, we become new creations, able to stand against the wiles of the slanderer.

There is a shocking revelation in the Christian faith:

The cosmic battle of good and evil does not take place between God and satan!

It takes place between man and satan!

Therefore, when we ask God to deliver us from the devil's oppression and nothing happens, it is not because God is not able to answer and it's not because God is making us wait for an answer.

God has already equipped us through Christ with every spiritual blessing, even his Holy Spirit, the word of God and the blood and testimony of Jesus to gain victory over the accuser!

The only persecution we will still face in this life is from men who have yet to fully come into the marvelous kingdom of the Son of God.

Brother and sisters, if you are facing any type of sickness, depression, anxiety, addiction or temptation, there is victory in Christ right now!

Ask God to give you revelation of who you are and then stand firm in the reality that Christ has already paid the price for your healing, deliverance and forgiveness.

If Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, then receive all the benefits of his sacrifice through faith and believe what is written in his word.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
